Sick & Positive

So for the last week or so we have all gotten some kind of flu bug. Me not as bad as Kyler and Chris, but i have been fighting a stuffy/runny nose and sore throat, and can't call in to work. So trying not to get anyone else sick either. Hope everyone else is healthy and well. On a more exciting note...
We are finally pregnant after trying for 5 months. Yeah!!! I figure i am due about Nov. I think it will be a boy, but we will be happy with either. I haven't been to a doctor yet, but that will come soon...it's all about the insurance...that takes time. But i took 2 home pregnancy tests and also went to a clinic just to make sure. I am positive. =) So grandparents look forward to another GREAT-grandchild. They are such blessings. Kyler is definitely ready for a sibling. As long as he doesn't treat him/her like the cats i think we will be ok. Or it will just make the baby tough. Anyways...love you all and hope all is well. Can't wait to see the fam next month in Idaho.

Sunday

Hello all. So church was cancelled today b/c of all the snow. I am bummed cuz we were supposed to sing in choir and i was to sing in a trio today. But better safe in the snow than not. We are enjoying family however so that is always nice. I miss everyone. Happy Birthday yesterday to Grandma (Adams). Hope you had an awesome day. I am sure you guys have lots of snow. We have been shoveling like mad men here. More than i am used to but still fun. We must have gotten like 6 inches over the night...plus with the wind, and then the fact that the snow is all powder it just blows. I could see us getting snowed in. But it makes for a very white christmas. =) Anywho..i hope everyone is well and enjoying this season of Christ. Miss you all and love you tons.

Quick update!

Just wanted to give a quick update on our family!

We moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, 3 months ago for Jeff to start his Ph.D. here at U of M. So far we are loving it. Jacob turns 14 months on Thursday and he keeps me pretty busy, as does the little one kicking away inside of me. We found out last month that we're having a girl, due March 23rd, and I'm really looking forward to that. The pregnancy is going by pretty quickly so that is a good thing, I think; although I don't mind being pregnant at all, I love holding a new baby even more! :) Oh, even though the pictures above show me in the same shirt, they were taken on different days and you can notice Jacob's smart-looking haircut in the one of me and him. He's pretty cute, and no, I am not biased at all. Ha.

We're heading to Beavercreek, Ohio, for Thanksgiving next week to spend the weekend with Jeff's brother's family. David and Megan have 3 kids and are expecting #4 a couple weeks after I am due. They just live 3.5 hours from us and we're excited to see them again. I even volunteered to bring a variety of pies with us when we go. Then next month we'll be driving 8.5 hours to Virginia to spend Christmas with my parents and Erin. I'm very thrilled about that. Something about going home for Christmas is just so exciting, plus I haven't been there since last December when I went to my grandma's funeral.

Jeff is extremely busy with school, we like our ward, we enjoy our house here in graduate family housing, and hope everyone is doing great out west!

Come visit us in Michigan, or I guess if you are strapped for cash like we seem to always be, go for the next best thing and read our blog. Still fun, but free fun!

The WA Adams'

Hello all. Chris, Rachel and Kyler are in Richland, WA. Chris is going to school for nursing and working part-time as a CNA at Kadlec Medical Center, Rachel is working part-time at West Richland Chiropractic as a Massage Therapist, and Kyler is hanging out being a fun, exciting little 18 month old boy. We haven't been doing too much exciting things: went to Twin Falls for Nikki's new little girl Kambree's blessing, and then to Boise for Chris' friend Wes' wedding. Staying home for Thanksgiving for a change, and then Ted and Shelly are coming for Christmas, so that will be really exciting. Other than that we are staying happy and healthy, for the most part. We are sick this week. But school and work are going good and we are happy. Excited to put up decorations. Find out more on our blog...rachelandchrisadams.blogspot.com. Love everyone.

The Wildings

Hey everyone! I hope lots of people decide to contribute to this blog often! Here is a picture of little BraeLynn just today when she was suppose to be taking a nap. As you can tell, according to her smile, she wasn't being very successful at it. She'll be 7 months in a week!!! CRAZY how fast time goes! We are living in Rexburg, Idaho going to school at BYU-Idaho. Josh is working full time and going to school full time. It's crazy, but he makes it work. He's a very hard worker, which is a blessing, but he's also a family guy, so he makes sure what little time he does have, is for family. Becci is taking one class and enjoys staying at home with BraeLynn. We don't get to spend a lot of time together, but we still try to make our weekly dates together. We'll be going to school at Idaho state in pocatello next fall so Josh can finish up his prerequisites for pharmacy school. Well that's our life for now, we'll keep contributing posts to let everyone know what were up to and how BraeLynn's growing. We love you all and miss you!!!
